Cutting costs vs Value for money

To be financially healthy (i.e. to ensure and sustain a positive cash flow), cut unnecessary expenses, but don’t go overboard and compromise on your quality of life.

Look for value for money. An item may be expensive, but is the money worth it? For example, an item may be inexpensive, but it wouldn’t last long or not comfortable to wear. Look for the value for money, instead of only at the absolute dollar amounts.
